Family News:
We wish you and your family a very blessed Easter Holiday. We hope you had time to share together in remembering why we serve such an awesome and loving God.
We want to express our thanks to all of you for your prayers and many condolences on passing away of Tim’s father, Robert MacDonald. He passed away April 5th after being diagnosed with cancer just 3 weeks before. He did not suffer and we are grateful for God’s comfort and peace over his life and that God was with Tim’s mom and the entire family during this time. Tim was able to get home to Nova Scotia for the funeral and to help his mom home for 11 days. We appreciate your prayers for our family during this time.
Our life has been very full with many things and we will share some here with you!

We were pleasantly surprised to have Aaron
and Julie Corrigan come to Tobago for 3 weeks for a visit. They just showed
up on our doorstep one night! What a surprise! They stayed with some
common friends we have and we enjoyed having them around, hanging out,
helping us with our kids, and visiting at the orphanage. They also came
and ministered on two occasions at our RI class at the school. They are
dear friends who we treasure greatly and who have a sincere heart for
Tobago.
Tim’s Birthday:

Yes, Tim is now another year older but we shouldn’t
tell his age! On Feb 15th, we celebrated with a surprise birthday party with
the Lifeforce Team and other youth leader friends here. It was also Nathan’s
birthday on the 19th, so we had a dual surprise! Tim couldn’t believe how
we pulled it off! Not much gets by him!
March Baby Dedication: It has been an honor for Michelle to be asked to
be a God Mother to Alia Jenelle Yoni Joseph. She was born in December 21st, 2005.
She is the daughter of Ava and Terrance, who are our neighbors
across the street. We have shared in friendship since we arrived and have
enjoyed encouraging each other in Christ.
Peter’s Visit: It was a pleasure to have Peter with our family for
a week. We enjoyed some of T&T’s nature and touristing by going to Matura,
Trinidad and witnessing the nesting of Leatherback Turtles. Such an amazing
sight! We also took some time to drive around and passed by a Hindu Temple in
Trinidad called, Waterloo Temple. The Hindu faith is prevalent on the island
of Trinidad.
May God richly bless you and we ask you continue to keep our family and
children in your daily prayers!

Ministry News:
It has been a challenging few months with many exciting things happening. It has been a personally demanding time. We appreciate your support and encouragement and prayers very much! We have such a vision for youth and the people here!
We appreciate all the condolences, prayers and e-mails you have shared as Tim’s father, Robert MacDonald, passed away suddenly on April 5th after being diagnosed with cancer just a few weeks before. Tim returned to Nova Scotia for the funeral and to be with his mother and siblings for 10 days.
We hope you have all had a wonderful Easter and we hope you are blessed with this update of our ministry here!
Lifeforce Ministry: The Tobago portion of their mission has been
very successful and rewarding. The Lifeforce team has transitioned into
ministry in Trinidad as of March 23rd. They are great team with such a
heart for others.
Here in Tobago, they led over 35 young people to Christ. God just gave them
amazing opportunities to share about Him. They visited several schools
repeatedly and were able to develop deeper relationships with the teens.
At the Program for Adolescent mothers, they have left a lasting impact of
encouragement on the girls’ lives. They had a special week where they worked
with one church, Buccoo Jesus Life Worship Centre. They paired up with church
members and did daily door to door ministry for a whole week. They would meet
for prayer and debriefing each day. The team was challenged in their own
evangelism, connected deeply with that church and had amazing times sharing
the gospel of Christ in the community.
For 10 days, a couple, Cher and Steve Dombowsky, joined the team. They
enjoyed ministering along with the team in schools, sharing about purity
and waiting until marriage. During this time, the team and Cher and Steve
did a lot Pre-Carnival Classes in schools and the community which addressed
abstinence, AIDS education and awareness. It was an important time to share
very challenging positive messages and to also share, that with Gods strength
it is attainable.

The team is now ministering in Trinidad. This year they are trying a new
approach. They are visiting communities/churches for 1 week periods and being
billeted in church family homes. They have ministered in New Grant and
Valencia and Arima so far. In Valencia, while ministering in the local
high school, 30 teens came to know Christ! What great news! They were able
to also include the youth group in all the ministry they did in Valencia.

That same week, Ashley had the opportunity to share the gospel with a young
girl who had never ever heard about Jesus before! She accepted Christ that
day! God is really anointing this team as they stretch themselves in
ministry. They also have been involved in serving by painting the Valencia
Evangelical Church.
Please continue to pray for the team as they continue to travel and minister in Trinidad. Pray for their safety, strength, that they will be able to move in the directions that God is leading them in evangelism, for the communities they touch and continued open doors!

Atlantic Missions Inc. (AMI) Visit, Feb 25 - March 4: We were truly
blessed to have mission partners, Judy and Randall Corey who also are the
directors of Atlantic Missions Inc. visit us for 1 week. They were in St
Vincent with Seeds International on a 10 day mission and had a fantastic
time there. They joined us afterwards for 1 week and it was an encouragement
to us to share our ministry here. We included them with us in our entire
ministry that week. During their time here, Tim spoke at a Carnival Camp
in Mt St George with the Wesleyan Holiness youth groups and Lifeforce did
some assemblies.

We wish to thank Judy and Randall and AMI for the donation of 60 New
Testaments, New Living Translation to our two RI classes at Pentecostal
Light and Life. They presented the bibles at our classes during our Friday
RI morning class.
It was a delight to have Judy and Randall with us and to share our ministry here. They really encouraged our hearts with their interest and enthusiasm for missions.
Director of Lifeforce Teams International Visit, Feb 26 - March 6:
Lindsay was here with us at the same time as Judy and Randall. It was a hectic
week but we enjoyed being with Lindsay. He spent lots of time with the team
and their ministry. He even pulled out the ‘Banana Man’ drama for the
children at the Jesus Cares home! It was too funny! No one does that drama
like Lindsay. It was an important time of sharing and planning for the mission
time here.
Truro Mission Team, March 10 - 17: We were truly blessed to work with a team
of 13 from St James Presbyterian Church. We had a great week of ministry together!
Check out the photo album for all
the photos! It was a truly impacting time for the town here and also for the
team.
We were really touched and impressed by their preparedness, servant’s heart,
initiative and love for others. They had excellent dramas, were very organized
and ministered to the children confidently and passionately! They brought so
many things to give to the children as prizes and treats! It was a real
blessing! They brought homemade teddy bears for the children’s home! They
were so precious!

Here is an outline of their time here as they ministered in our village of Plymouth and Jesus Cares Family Cottage:
When we asked the team what had impacted them the most, here are some responses:
Praise God for how He has worked!

Peter Hill
joined us for a week. Peter is a dear friend, our webmaster of this website
and also looks after our Canadian office for the mission. It was so nice to
hang out together and minister together again. It was relaxing as he also
helped us at home with the kids and homeschooling. Peter led a ‘Time of
Refreshing’ on Sunday March 26th. It was an entire night of worship - it
was truly a time of refreshing as we met with God in a real way! On March
27th, he led worship for our Youth Leaders network Meeting. We joined up
with the Lifeforce team in Trinidad and enjoyed some time with them going
to see the Leatherback Turtles nesting! It was a quick visit but it was
so nice to have him with us here again!
Tobago Youth Leaders Network, March 27 and April 3:

The Tobago
Youth Network continues to press forward and meet regularly. These meetings
went very well this month. Peter joined us in Scarborough and Tim lead a
teaching time about ‘Leadership’ . Michelle led the Roxborough meeting
and that also was a great time of discussion and ministry.
Please continue to pray for the youth leaders here as they face many challenges in ministry and life. Dealing with the lack of commitment of youth and leaders is a main concern. Please uplift them.
Upcoming events:
As you can see it has been an eventful few months, God has been moving here. We appreciate your prayers and vision for this ministry.
